Ag Express Inc. is a locally owned trucking company operated by Kirk Woodland. We have been in business since 2003 and have grown to run locations in Burley, Paul, and Twin Falls, Idaho. What we do: with our fleet of 80+ trailers and just over 130 full and part-time employees, we're proudly supporting our communities by hauling the goods people need, whether it's liquid syrups, fertilizers, de-icing and dust control products, or everyone's favourite vegetables: the Idaho potatoes. At Ag Express, we prove that doesn't have to be an unforgiving career!

We're not big fans of talking about our company culture because we're too busy living it, but if we had to use a few keywords, we would go for safety, balance, and camaraderie. Our founder is still around (and very much involved). In fact, most of the principles that guide our daily actions come from him. Starting with staying true to yourself, taking care of people, and cultivating positive relationships. Whatever role you choose with us, know that you will be surrounded by good people, in a very family-oriented environment.

"Working here allows me to constantly expand my knowledge and experience of the trucking and transportation industry. In seven years, I have benefited from a consistent workload, flexible hours, and reset days. The dispatchers, supervisors, and administrators are professional, and they understand employees' needs. They strive to be helpful when situations may arise. My experience here has been highlighted with more family time, great financial stability, and a friendly atmosphere."

“I'm a retired Law Enforcement officer. I decided to start driving trucks as a second career as I have many family members in the trucking business. Most trucking companies require two years' driving experience, but Ag Express gave me a chance to learn and they're very helpful in bringing me along. What I like the most is the good working atmosphere, the people I work with, and the flexible shifts. I have the best of both worlds: I'm home just about every night during the winter months and I have the opportunity to travel out of state during the summer months. I love my job!”

“I’m a retired U.S Army Combat Veteran. I joined the Ag Express team just over 4 years ago to drive trucks pulling tankers. Within the first few months, I was moved into driving one of the Mag Chloride dust control trucks where I really enjoyed meeting new people. After being with the company for 2 years, I was promoted to hauling railroad equipment with a step-deck trailer along with continuing to pull tank trailers. And around my 4th year here, I was promoted again to Operations Supervisor! There is a great friendly and family-oriented atmosphere here. I love my job and the engaging environment it gives me.”

"I have worked for Ag Express for a little over 7 years and I absolutely love to go to work every day. When I first started, I was a newly single mom who had to juggle a few things for my son. Ag Express was so accommodating and understanding of my needs! I have worked under a few different supervisors and all have been respectful and awesome to work with. It started as just a job, but now I feel like it's my career. I can’t imagine working anywhere else in my lifetime."
